LEGAL STANDING OF A SWORN TRANSLATION
In Spain, a Sworn Translation is a translation service including an official certification signed and sealed by a Sworn Translator duly admitted, appointed and registered with the Spanish Foreign Office. Sworn Translations convey the maximum degree of quality assurance and responsibility before the Client and the Spanish Administration in the field of translation.
Sworn Translators are vested with the authority to act independently in an official capacity as translators and interpreters when the resulting translations and interpretations are to take legal effects in Spain.
A Sworn Translation is deemed an authentic document under Spanish law and attests to the truth of its content to the effect that it is true and faithful to its original until otherwise rebutted through the introduction of contradictory evidence before the Language Interpretation Bureau of the Spanish Foreign Office.

the Client's discretionary will to obtain an officially certified translation so as to ensure the quality, accuracy and integrity of the translation.
to ensure legal certainty before third parties or
in order to comply with certain Spanish legal, administrative or regulatory provisions establishing the obligation to submit Sworn Translations of documents originally drafted in a foreign language.

DELIVERABLES UNDER A SWORN TRANSLATION SERVICE
In principle and with the purpose of allowing our Clients to have maximum legal certainty and make the best of the resulting products, a Sworn Translation service provided by Exhibit will include the delivery of the following:
Sworn Translation Document: including a cover page, a hard copy of the translation duly certified on its last page under the hand and seal of a Sworn Translator and a hard copy of the original document submitted by the Client. Depending on the resulting number of pages, the Sworn Translation Document may be presented with staples or bound. If stapled, besides the official certification, every page of the document will bear the paraph and seal of the Sworn Translator.
Electronic copy of the Sworn Translation Document: In order to enable our Clients to record, print or consult said document, Exhibit submits a copy in pdf format of each Sworn Translation issued. This copy shall be deemed by Exhibit the only acceptable document of reference should there be any controversy concerning the quality of the relevant translation.
